Pre-conference meeting with round table discussion on August 29, 2023 in Utrecht
The International Task Force on Laterality in Sport Horses is an international group of veterinarians, researchers and equestrians focusing on movement asymmetries in horses and the complexities of the horse-rider interaction. We are particularly interested in understanding laterality in horse and rider, with the mission statement:
“To gain deeper understanding of laterality in equestrian activities in an effort to better differentiate physiological from pathological asymmetry in horse and rider, with the goals of preventing injury, enhancing training methods and improving veterinary care.”
